Iridu wins with a queen sacrifice against Italy, this was the only win for Sri Lanka.  The womens team have so far not lost a single game 4-0.  Tommorow they meet another strong team Denmark

Sri Lankan mens team top Group D and the womens team are on 3rd place on Group D

Both teams are playing extremly well, unfortunately I will not be taking my laptop to the playing hall so the updates would be after mid night.  The mens team have recorded three wins in a row and are on top of the catagory.  The womens team are on third place on the tie break.  This years results are good at the moment how ever there are four more rounds.  We have never won a group prize before and both teams are fighting hard for it.

Sri Lankan Team Meeting

The Sri Lankan Team meets every morning just after breakfast for a planning session in which we discuss the games of the last round and then the plan for the day.  This is then followed by opening preperation for each player.
